Forever Split Megaways is a Pragmatic Play slot with tumbling wins, multipliers on the horizontal reels, and a bonus game with free spins. The game page describes up to 72,030 ways to win and lists an RTP of 96.58%. This article turns that RTP into peso amounts and then shows what one demo sample of 1,000 spins did and did not show.

What the official page says

The Pragmatic Play game page lists the following points. We checked it on 17 October 2026.

  • RTP 96.58% under Basic Game Info.
  • Up to 72,030 ways to win.
  • Paying symbols on the horizontal reels above and below reels 2 to 5 can carry multipliers of up to 15x. Multipliers that form part of a win are added to a total multiplier, which applies to later tumble wins on the same spin and resets when the spin ends.
  • 3 to 6 scatters trigger the bonus game with 10 to 25 free spins. Two scatters award 5 more free spins.
  • During the feature, symbols that land on the top and bottom reels are guaranteed to carry multipliers, and the total multiplier keeps rising when they contribute to a win.

What the 96.58% RTP means in pesos

RTP is a long-run average, not a promise about one session. At 96.58%, the expected loss is 3.42 centavos for every peso staked. The table below is our calculation from that figure.

Bet per spin Spins Total staked Expected return Expected loss (our calculation)
PHP 10 500 PHP 5,000 PHP 4,829.00 PHP 171.00
PHP 20 200 PHP 4,000 PHP 3,863.20 PHP 136.80
PHP 50 100 PHP 5,000 PHP 4,829.00 PHP 171.00
PHP 20 1,000 PHP 20,000 PHP 19,316.00 PHP 684.00

Each row uses the same expected loss rate. Changing the stake size does not change the average loss per peso; it changes how quickly the total stake grows.

Why one session can look nothing like the average

The expected loss of PHP 136.80 in the PHP 20 by 200 spins row is small compared with how much one session can move. In our demo sample, the standard deviation of the win per spin was about 3.3 times the bet. For a PHP 20 bet over 200 spins, that gives a rough session standard deviation of about PHP 946 (our approximate calculation: 20 × 3.345 × √200). That is roughly seven times the expected loss. The figure rests on one sample with a long tail, so it is only a rough guide.

Our demo sample of 1,000 paid spins

We recorded 1,000 paid spins from the official Pragmatic Play demo server, at 2.00 demo units per spin, using the raw server responses. No real money was used. The results were:

  • 79.5% of spins (795 of 1,000) returned nothing.
  • 9.0% (90 spins) returned less than the stake.
  • 8.1% (81 spins) returned 1x to 5x, and 2.8% (28 spins) returned 5x to 20x.
  • 0.6% (6 spins) returned 20x to 100x. No spin returned more than 100x.
  • The largest single-spin return was 48x the stake.
  • Any return occurred on 20.5% of spins. The feature was reported on 1 spin.
  • The sample return was 68.96%, with an approximate 95% interval of 48.2% to 89.7%.
Bar chart of 1,000 demo paid spins grouped by return band: 79.5% returned nothing, 9.0% returned less than the stake, and 8.1% returned 1x to 5x
Our chart from the 1,000-spin demo sample. It is a tabulation of one sample, not an RTP test.

The 95% interval does not include the official 96.58%. We do not read that as evidence the published RTP is wrong. A single 1,000-spin sample with a long tail is too small to test an RTP, and the interval is a rough normal approximation. The sample is an observation, not a finding. It also reported only one feature, so it says almost nothing about how often the bonus arrives.

What to check before you bet

  • The demo server and real-money play are not guaranteed to produce the same results. We did not test live play.
  • The official page does not give hit frequency, maximum win or the full paytable. This article does not fill those gaps.
  • Check the stake range, bonus options and RTP shown in the game information of the operator you use.
  • Set a budget before you play. The expected loss is the average, not a result you can count on.
