Big Bass Halloween 1, 2, 3 or Splash 1000? Four Pragmatic Play Halloween fishing slots compared

Short answer — Pragmatic Play has four Big Bass Halloween slots on its official site. All of them use the familiar fisherman collect: the fisherman wild collects fish money symbols, and every fourth fisherman retriggers 10 spins with a 2x, then 3x, then 10x multiplier. The RTPs differ by a surprising amount. Halloween 2 is the highest at 96.71% and states a 5,000x cap. The original Halloween is the lowest at 96.04%. Halloween 3 and Halloween Splash 1000 sit at 96.50%. We read all four pages on 19 October 2026.

If you play these every October, this guide shows which one gives the best long-run return and what each adds before the bonus starts.

The four games side by side

Figures from the official pages.

What changes before the bonus

  • Halloween: no pre-round modifier. Fish carry 2x–2,000x, and the multiplier on fish values rises with each retrigger.
  • Halloween 2: one modifier is picked at random before the round, such as more collect symbols, more cash or extra spins.
  • Halloween 3: two fishermen, blue and red, each with their own meter. Each meter levels up after every fourth wild.
  • Halloween Splash 1000: you pick one of six pumpkins to reveal up to five modifiers, including starting at the second multiplier level. When only two scatters land, a random feature can add a third.

The RTP gap in pesos

Between Halloween 2 (96.71%) and the original Halloween (96.04%) there are 0.67 points. On ₱10,000 of total bets, that is an expected long-run cost of ₱329 against ₱396, a ₱67 difference by our calculation, for two games that look almost the same. On a ₱10 bet, Halloween 2’s stated 5,000x cap is ₱50,000.

The retrigger ladder, with an example

All four use the same ladder: the 4th fisherman adds 10 spins at 2x, the 8th at 3x and the 12th at 10x. As an illustrative example of our own: a fish worth 5x on a ₱10 bet pays ₱50 before any retrigger, ₱100 after the first, ₱150 after the second and ₱500 after the third. Reaching the last level is rare. The pages do not say how often it happens.

Which Halloween to play

  1. For the best long-run return, choose Halloween 2.
  2. For picking your own modifiers, choose Halloween Splash 1000.
  3. For two separate wild meters, choose Halloween 3.
  4. If you open the original, note its 96.04% RTP, and check it in the game’s information screen.
